Q346 : Using the "Zoom Polygon" in AutoGrid Pro

Question
In AutoGrid Pro, is there an equivalent to the Zoom utility of CDEGS? Where can I define a zoom polygon?

Answer
In AutoGrid Pro, the Zoom polygon is called the Safety Area. Information about this concept can be obtained by loading the Safety screen in AutoGrid Pro (using Project | Define Safety Criteria) and pressing the F1 key to obtain help . In the resulting help topic, there is a section called:

DRAWING A SAFETY AREA

that describes how to do define a "zoom polygon" in AutoGrid Pro. You will have to turn off the "Automated Safety" features for this to work. Note that the safety area will be saved along with the rest of the data, and can therefore be re-used in future sessions.
