Call For Papers


Annual meetings for SES software users to provide input for the enhancement of the software, review changes to the programs, and to provide a forum for users and SES researchers to make presentations on electrical safety, transmission line and substation grounding design, and improved methods for protecting equipment and pipelines against AC interference.

Technical Topics

The following topics will be covered at the CDEGS Users’ Group Meeting:

  • Grounding, Earthing Analysis
  • Electrical Interference (Capacitive, Inductive and Conductive)
  • EMC Analysis and Mitigation
  • Electromagnetic Fields Analysis
  • Lightning, Shielding & Transients Analysis
  • Electric Environmental Impact Assessments and Mitigation
  • And any other related topic suggested by users

Please format your article following the guidelines set out in the Word Template available below. The total length of articles should not exceed 20 pages including tables, figures, graphs, illustrations, appendices and references. All initial and final articles must be submitted by e-mail to At least one of the authors needs to attend the conference (either virtually, or in person in Montreal).
