This distribution of SES Software 21.0 is a full installation of the software. It includes updates up to version 21.0.11309. Please see the download and installation instructions below for further details.

You may alternatively download and install the software, documentation, and cumulative updates using their ISO packages if you are working in a restricted environment that does not allow you to deploy self-extracting packages. For further details, refer to the Readme document, under the section, ISO Packages.

Download Instructions

All programs, related utilities, and tools are contained in a single software installation package. The documentation package (How-to manuals, guides, and video tutorials) is available separately for each supported language; it can be installed separately at a later time when you require access to its contents.

1. Log in on the Software Updates webpage.
2. Download the software package, SES210.exe, to a folder of your choice, for example, “C:\Users\Public\Downloads”.
3. If you require it, download the documentation package that matches your Windows language (i.e., system locale). For example, on an English Windows, download 210LNGPK[en].exe
4. If it is available, download the latest cumulative update, SES210SPNNNNN.exe, where NNNNN is the build number.

Installation Instructions

Before attempting to execute the steps below, please make sure that you have full administrative privileges.

1. In Windows File Explorer, browse to the folder that contains the downloaded packages.
2. Start the SES Software installation package, SES210.exe. A wizard will be shown with a default location to where the extraction of the software package will occur. It is recommended to use this default location for the extraction. Click on the Next button to begin the extraction process.
   The software package will automatically extract the distribution files from the package to the chosen extraction path and the Setup.exe installation program will automatically be started from the extracted location.
   
3. Proceed with the installation dialogs of SES Software; the installer will install the following items:
   • The prerequisites (if any are required to be installed).
   • All SES Software programs.
   • Sentinel LDK Run-time Environment.
4. If you require it, install the documentation. For example, on an English Windows, run 210LNGPK[en].exe to automatically extract the distribution files from the package to the chosen extraction path and the SESDocs 21.0.msi installer will automatically be started from the extracted location.
5. If it is available, install the latest cumulative update, SES210SPNNNNN.exe, where NNNNN is the build number.

Administrators:

• There are new and improved instructions for command-line silent installation. Refer to the Readme document, under the section, Starting the Installation.
• Version 21.0 installs more recent versions of the Microsoft Visual C++ 2015-2022 and Microsoft .NET 8.0 Desktop runtimes. After the software installation, the installer will reboot the machine if an older version of either runtime was updated. See the Reboot Requirements section in the Readme for further details.
