Q12577 : If a conductor starts on one set of towers and then transfers or moves to another set of towers

Question
What does one do if a conductor starts on one set of towers and then transfers or moves to another set of towers, as in the example of messenger cables?

Answer
There are several ways to model a case in which a conductor starts on one set of towers and then transfers or moves to another set of towers. One easy approach is: define this conductor (phase) as two separate phases and two conductors in ROW. Each one will have a dummy portion before or after the transferring point, and make sure that these two phases are connected at the transferring point (using Replacing/Inserting Connection Impedance function in the Modifying Circuit Module/Mutual Data Modification).
