SESTrainSimulator has been updated with new features that significantly improve its
computational efficiency. The software can now automatically detect previous computation files
and offers the user to include them within the current analysis eliminating the need for recomputation
of associated states. This significantly speeds up the overall computation process.
Furthermore, the creation of input files, which can number in the hundreds, is now done in
parallel, further accelerating the simulation.
Rail track conductors created using the Create Rail Template button are now integrated into
an 'element path' object. This innovative feature ensures the sequential ordering of conductor
segments, streamlining the entire process for enhanced precision and efficiency.
Finally, the Create Envelope feature now generates an SESPlot file which can be accessed by
clicking the button located to the right of the envelope generation progress bar.
The image below shows a plot of the results obtained from the envelope generation process. This example
shows the maximum induced Ground Potential Rise on an insulated gas pipeline running parallel
to a railway, over a 24-hour period of train operations.
