SESPlotViewer

SESPlotViewer offers a plotting interface having functionalities tailored for CDEGS users who need to create graphs suitable for inclusion in engineering reports. The output processor used in many of our programs was therefore enhanced to support the production of a SESPlot file, which can be displayed in SESPlotViewer, for plots of type 2D. This yields advantages in terms of presentation quality, interactive plot examination, data modification and style customization.

The feature is available from the SESResultsViewer user interface, but can also be used in macro files that can be run in SESBatch. It is also exploited and exposed in the SESFFT and SESTransient applications.

A Save As Template feature was also developed in SESPlotViewer to preserve user preferences regarding plot styles, i.e. all line and text visual attributes, background images, guidelines, default series and axes names, etc. New files can then be created from user templates displayed in a gallery, in the application’s backstage.
