SESLibrary: New Tools and Enhancements
A new tool automates the creation of SESImpedance models using conductor data from
SESLibrary for validation and calibration purposes. For ferromagnetic materials like steel, users
can now adjust default permeability values to account for high variability.
A new database provides electrical parameters for a wide range of transformers (10 kVA to 1200 MVA).
The sag calculator estimates vertical displacement of conductors under various loads, so that
users can represent accurate overhead line sag configurations, if necessary.
- GIS/GIL Database Filter: A new Phase filter improves data retrieval by allowing users to sort by single-phase or three-phase systems.
- Context-Sensitive Help: Updated help system with structured guidance, UI instructions, and detailed reference material.
The latest enhancement to SESLibrary introduces a Batch Import feature, allowing users to
select multiple items from different databases and group them into a temporary batch list for bulk
import. This significantly improves the efficiency of importing items into CDEGS applications by
reducing repetitive selection tasks. The Conductor Types screen in SESCAD is a straightforward
example of a use case for this feature.
