Introducing Plates in MultiGroundZ

The ability to model metallic plates has been integrated into the MultiGroundZ package. Metallic plates in MultiGroundZ produce identical results to those of the MultiGround package, for systems of small dimensions. They also produce identical results for those of the MultiFields package, for cases where inductive effects can be ignored. For cases where many plate elements are requested, this new feature of MultiGroundZ allows much faster computations than those of the MultiFields package. This is illustrated in the image below, showing a much shorter run-time for MALZ cases compared to HIFREQ.

Cartesian Grid Impedance in MALZ Report

The MALZ report created in SESResultsViewer in the next version of SES Software will include the cartesian representation of the grid impedance value.

MALZ report generated in sesrv now includes the cartesian
representation of the grid impedance value.
